Biography:
Kamen Rider, initially known as Masked Rider in some regions, is the protagonist of the long-running Japanese Tokusatsu television series of the same name. The original Kamen Rider's first appearance was in the debut episode of Kamen Rider in 1971.
The first Kamen Rider is Ichimonji Hayato, a biochemist who is kidnapped and surgically altered by the evil organization Shocker into a cyborg soldier. Shocker intends to brainwash him and use him for their world domination plans. However, before the brainwashing is complete, he escapes and decides to use his newfound powers to fight against Shocker and protect humanity.
He possesses superhuman strength, agility, and endurance, derived from the surgical enhancements and powered by his Rider Belt. He also rides a powerful motorcycle called the Cyclone, which is capable of reaching incredible speeds. Kamen Rider's appearance, with his grasshopper-like helmet and armored suit, has become iconic within the Tokusatsu genre.
